Best Brunch in Braam

via Braamies

Explore your city with your tastebuds

I've picked the top 3 spots you should definitely have on your weekend "To Do" list.

POST breakfast lunch

If the name doesn't give it away, this place specialises in brunch. A beautiful little spot to unwind and have a really good cup of coffee. It has very Brooklyn, New York vibe, where you can sit and watch the city streets. People watching in Braam has to be my favourite pastime ever, and this little place has the best view. And the best homemade lemonade.

If people watching isn't your thing, and you're just looking for great food shared with great company, Post opens up to an urban courtyard tucked away form the hustle and bustle of the inner city. This place is what brunch dreams are made of.

Hands down the most instagram-worthy and drool-worthy food. Tucked away at the end of De Beer road, in a bright green building, this place is the place to be on weekends. This place is known by everyone, so finding a table on a Saturday or Sunday is often difficult. But friendly staff, hipster ambience, fantastic eggs and pancakes + wifi make this a great brunch spot for socialites.

Further into the city is a wonderful place called Velo, also reminiscent of Brooklyn, New York . With the widest range of brunch food, this place is my #1 choice for a Boozy Sunday chill with friends. They serve unreal cocktails, so if you've had a long week this is the place to unwind. Have I mentioned that Velo also has a bakery with freshly baked goodies available daily? This place will please every brunch preference.

Find it on 2, The Grove, 85 Juta & Melle streets
