Current Favourites: Clarins Products

I've a been a die hard fan of Clarins skin care for a couple of years. Then after venturing out into their cosmetics line, I am definitely in love. Now we all know that the Clarins foundation range is bomb, but today I'm going to share with you my top non-foundation products. These products are soon becoming my everyday go-to's and will definitely come with me on my upcoming December travels.

Instant Light Lip Perfector

A product that is both a balm and a gloss, it can definitely be used on its own for those no-makeup makeup days, or applied over your favourite matte lipstick. While versatility is definitely a plus, I love this product for its smooth balm-like texture, soft vanilla smell, and making my lips look like they're more voluminous. Pair this on top of a nude lip pencil, and you'll have Kylie Jenner lips in no time.

Blush Prodige Illuminating Cheek Color

Not only does it come in the most gorgeous expensive looking golden compact enveloped by a red velvet pouch, this blush is everything I have been looking for. And I didn't even realize I was looking. The blush is divided into 4 squares, 2 of which are a darker more pigmented matte pink, and the other 2 are a lighter illuminating (possible highlighter infused?) pale pink. Its almost like a blush contouring kit in one convenient package. Swirl a medium sized dual-fibre on all for squares, and your cheeks look glowy, naturally dimensioned, with the perfect natural rosy flush.

Garden Escape 6-Colour Eyeshadow Palette

I've had this palette for a while (since its release for the Spring 2015 collection), but I've only grown to really appreciate it in the last couple of months. Having green/blue eyes, I've always been weary of colors other than those of brown/bronze/gold hues. But one day a sense of adventure overwhelmed my usual eye makeup routine. I used the lighter, more grey-olive green to cover the whole lid, and the darker more pigmented green on a wet angled brush along the lash line as a liner. And let me tell you I have never expected to love green eyeshadow on green eyes as I did that day.

If you have ever admired those glamorous Parisian models during summer time in the 1970s, this palette is the one. These colours (white base, dark green, olive light green, red-pink, baby pink, natural taupe) paired with a nude lip will transform you into a glowing goddess of the 70s while making you look naturally, effortlessly beautiful.
