#BeautyReview: Cipria Milano

I have been eyeing out this shop in Sandton for quite some time, and last week was the 1st time I decided to step inside and look around. And I was pleasantly surprised. Cipria Milano is an Italian beauty brand that stocks make-up,skin care, fragrances and lovely hair treatments at a very affordable price.

I bought 2 metallic eyeshadows, the pink/purple one is the shade #566 and a baked bronze one in #564,  as well as an eyebrow pencil in #8.

The eyebrow pencil is not too smooth, but not too hard so its easy to vary the pressure to achieve perfectly natural brows. This colour is perfect for blondes or dark blondes. I, myself, have coloured blonde hair and dark brown eyebrows, and it is often difficult to find a shade thats light enough to suit the blonde and not so dark it make me look ridiculous.

The shadows - although packaged in very cheap, flimsy packaging - are nothing short of perfection. They are super pigmented (bonus for dark complexions!) and the texture is smooth and buttery. This makes them extremely easy to apply and blend. And for R99 its a steal!

When you purchase anything at the store, you receive a free loyalty card. This loyalty card works on a stamp system, and records how much you have spent, granting you to choose a free lipstick/nail polish/shampoo/lipgloss/fragrance every time you spend R600.

While I was in the shop, an assistant was kind enough to take me around and show me some of their bestsellers. One thing that stood out to me most was a "Liquid Illuminizing Foundation" which isn't a foundation at all, but rather the exact same thing as MAC Lustre Drops. It can be mixed in with foundation, used straight on the body for a great glow, or a highlighter, and comes in a variety of lovely shades like Lilac, Gold, Bronze and Natural. All in all, if you want quality makeup without a hefty price tag - go check it out.

Cipria Eyeshadows - R99 each
Cipria Eyebrow Pencil - R89.99

Cipria Milano is located in Sandton Shopping Centre (JHB) and Cape Gate Shopping Centre (Cape Town)
