Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance " - should be words to live by.
Simplicity of clothing is its impeccable quality that is impossible to recreate. No high fashion brand has ever sold t-shirts that look like they've been drenched in a bucket of rhinestones, glitter, gold and unicorn tears (just forget the 00's). When buying apparel or staple pieces, do yourself a favour and invest in a brand that uses high quality materials even if it costs those extra rands. That quality yet simple piece will shine elegance instead of screaming out for attention like a 2-year-old.
The beauty of simplicity is that you can pair a simple article of clothing with anything and you will instantly look like you don't need a litre of coffee to get your day started, and generally have your shit together. That my friends, is called elegance (like the name of the shop I chose to shoot this look at, ironically).
